Boyko Borissov, the leader of the GERB party and the winner of elections with 24.6% support, has recently made a statement in which he stressed that the party could not form a government as it continuously facing a refusal because the opposition ‘We continue the change‘ is not engaging in a conversation. Assembling a cabinet with a second or third term is not possible due to the non-cooperation of Petrov’s party. Borissov also believes there is no need to form a minority administration as Bulgaria don’t want it.

Targetting the opposition, he said, “This is unfair to both the country and their people. They are wasting valuable time forming a minority government that no one supports. We are betting on a potential third term if the second party doesn’t get any support, which will certainly not receive any assistance. Stability is impossible without the first two parties accepting some responsibility “.

Borissov also explained that If all other choices have been exhausted, the party will probably form a minority administration. Asen Vassilev wants to achieve this since he knows the state’s financial position. The GERB’s leader declared that today marks Bulgaria’s re-entry into the financial markets and compared the current state of affairs to the idiom. He also stated that Bulgaria needs almost $15 Billion. It’s the reason Petrov’s party don’t want us to sit at the table.

The GERB-parliamentary SDS group in the 48th National Assembly will continue to go with Rosen Zhelyazkov as the next speaker of the parliament and Rositsa Kirilova as the deputy speaker.

Borissov emphasizes that “the only way to end the crises is by talking and negotiating. We don’t want the nation to continue to exist in anarchy. Those of us who were in charge are stepping down. Placing in a new budget, I am informing you that we will want a minimum of a 30% increase in income and a 30% increase in pensions! Who can break more if that’s the game we’re playing”.
