In a statement, President Emanuel Macron highlighted that France will mobilise international assistance to Ukraine on December 13 in order to support Ukraine's resilience in the face of Russian aggression. He said France decided to help Ukraine restore access to energy by repairing its electrical systems

President Volodymyr Zelensky stated, "Last night, Russian forces once again launched lethal strikes in several Ukrainian regions. Active hostilities continue in the eastern and southern parts of Ukraine, and the country's armed forces hold the initiative"

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov travelled to the Indonesian island of Bali to attend the meeting of G-20 foreign ministers, which is expected to cast a shadow over the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

Apart from this, the European Commissioner for Crisis Management, Janez Lenarčič, is paying a visit to Ukraine today only to witness and take stock of the war-hit nation.

European Commission asserted, "There will be no impunity for Russian war crimes in Ukraine. The EU supports the International Criminal Court with €7.25 million to increase its investigation capacity into war crimes committed under Russian occupation".

The statement by the High Commissioner comes on Europe Day, which this year has been dedicated to the war-torn country and its population. 

He stated, "As a Bulgarian by birth, I want to mention that Azerbaijani gas brought peace and stability to Bulgaria in the context of the crisis with gas supplies from Russia".
