The Prime Minister further added, "We are moving forward, and I believe that we will gather 121 MPs. Then we will introduce the law on (the anti-corruption commission) to be approved, & (Interior Minister Boiko) Rashkov to become head of the commission".

The outgoing Sports Minister, Radostin Vassilev, is also among the six members who are leaving Slavi Trifonov's led-ITN party. This comes after five days when Trifonov announced to leave the four parties-led Bulgarian coalition government.  

Regional Development Minister & the Deputy Prime Minister Grozdan Karadzhov, Foreign Minister Teodora Genchovska, Energy Minister Alexander Nikolov and Sports Minister Radostin Vassilev are the ministers of Slavi Trifonov-led ITN party who resigned.

Current Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov is the leader of the WCC political party. ITN was one of the four parties who came together to form the Bulgarian administration but now has stepped back, leaving a coalition of 3 parties.

The National Assembly Speaker Nikola Minchev of WCC (We Continue the Change), speaking yesterday, noted that the changes in the budget were required and of "higher priority" as compared to the Cabinet changes.

Apart from this, the Bulgarian Prime Minister highlighted the need for both the states to continue working for the European Commission to become strong and resilient to future challenges, whether geopolitical, economic or social.

Further referring to the leader of the ITN political party, Slavi Trifonov, he stated, "Especially if this party leader is a former singer who most irresponsibly decides to risk this government just because of his personal ego".  

Providing light on the matter, he then added that BGN1bn was transferred to the bank accounts of the firms and individuals who at that time withdrew the money and then used it to renovate or build their luxury homes, villas, residential complexes and other buildings in the capital city of Sofia.
