Sofia, Bulgaria: The Prime Minister of Bulgaria – Kiril Petkov, held an official meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – Faisal bin Farhan, today, May 27, 2022.

The meeting was held in the capital city of Bulgaria – Sofia.

Providing information on the meeting, the Bulgarian Prime Minister asserted, “Had a productive meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs H.H Prince Faisal bin Farhan in Sofia. We wish to strengthen our partnership by developing mutually beneficial relationships in areas of strategic importance, such as business, innovation and investments”.

Meanwhile, the foreign ministry of Saudi Arabia stated, “The Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria, Kiril Petkov, receives the Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan.

The foreign minister of Saudi Arabia also met with the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr Nikola Minchev, during his visit to the European country.

He was received and warmly welcomed by the Bulgarian Prime Minister – Rumen Radev, in the capital city of Sofia.

Providing information about the visit of Faisal bin Farhan, the ministry of Saudi Arabia notifies, “Minister of Foreign Affairs H.H Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria, – Minister Teodora Genchovska during his official visit to Sofia”.

“They held an official session of reviewing friendship relations and mutual respect between Saudi Arabia – Bulgaria and peoples with ways to support and develop them. They discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation in various fields and regional and international developments and efforts on them”,

It further added, “They discussed ways to strengthen the economic partnership within the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, intensify cooperation in the political and economic fields, coordinate bilaterally on regional & int’l issues of common concern and support all efforts to promote int’l peace and security”.
