BA.5 Omicron variant cases reported by healthcare facilities of Bulgaria

All of the samples were taken from 16 districts of Bulgaria between the time frame of May 5 to June 3. According to the data shared by NCIPD, the BA.2 subvariant is the dominant one in the nation and has been reported in sixty-seven (67) cases. 

92 COVID patients tests positive for Omicron variant in Bulgaria

National Centre for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases - (NCIPD) on March 25, Friday, stated that additional 456 cases of the Omicron variant have been found in 457 samples processed of the COVID-19 patients, from 24 out of Bulgaria's 28 districts.

2393 individuals tests COVID positive in Bulgaria, while 34 dies
