At the start of the main scheme, the young Bulgaria Pavlova eliminated the eighth in the system, Veronica Gornyak, representing Poland, with 21:14 and 21:13 in 30 minutes.

Later, she won against Ananya Praveen of India with 21:9, 21:15 in 24 minutes. In dispute for a place in the semifinals, Pavlova will play against the leader of the scheme, Daniela Gonda.

Michaela Chepisheva, who overcame the women’s qualifications yesterday after two consecutive successes, today lost in the first round of the main circuit against Ananya Praveen with 18:21, 10:21 in 22 minutes.

In mixed pairs, Stanimir Terziev and Tsvetina Popivanova suffered defeat by the representatives of Norway Matias Tzi Hun and Amy Hun with 13:21, 11:21 in 21 minutes.

Later, the Bulgarian competitors dropped out in the second round of women’s pairs. Mihaela Chepisheva and Tsvetina Popivanova, second in the scheme, lost to Katerina Koliashova and Katerina Osladilova (Czech Republic) with 21:18, 9:21, 15:21 in 39 minutes, and Tanya Ivanova and Gergana Pavlova fell in front of the third-placed Sonia Horinkova and Catherine Zuzakova (🇨🇿Czech Republic) with 19:21, 16:21 in 34 minutes.

Gergana Pavlova continues in the singles quarterfinals and will play tomorrow against the leader in the scheme, Daniela Gonda (Hungary).
