Plovdiv, Bulgaria: After the Disciplinary Committee to the Bulgarian Football Union imposed heavy sanctions on Botev – a host against Beroe (Stara Zagora) without an audience, the club leadership submitted a request to the BFS Appeal Committee to review the decision.

Following the decision of AK to the BFS, the penalty was changed to the partial closure of the Hristo Botev Stadium for the upcoming match. Supporters of the “yellow and black” will be able to support the team from the following stands:
– Central grandstand
– Tribune North
– Tribune SOUTH
!! Tribune East will remain closed for the derby with Beroe.

From the past week, Botev’s team (Plovdiv) started preparation for the “Battle of Thrace” against the team of Beroe (Stara Zagora). The match will be played today at 8:00 pm. at the stadium “Hristo Botev”.

The “Canaries” strained strength hours after the defeat by the Black Sea in Varna. They held recovery training in Varna and then travelled back to Plovdiv.

Today, they held tactical activities and exercises at the Nikola Shterev – Starika Sports Complex. The group was joined by Reda Rabei and Antoine Baroan, who missed the meeting in Varna due to a viral disease. Roy Herman also took part in the training process. Hidayet Hankic still has a viral infection.

Among Dushan Kerkez’s selections are Antoine Baroan and Reda Rabei, who missed the match against the Black Sea in Varna.

Yesterday, the Botevists performed their last exercise at the College, and on Saturday, they will face Beroe for the 112th time in their history in the Battle of Thrace.
