The Historical Museum Dryanovo informed through its official Facebook account that after ongoing repairs to the roof and facade of the Lafchie House, it reopens its ethnographic exhibition to visitors.
The team of the History Museum of Dryanovo is working on preparing a thematic exhibition plan with new content to show in the house the history of the city, the economic progress and the spiritual development of the Dryanovo society after the Liberation.
To fulfil the intentions, internal repairs of the building must be carried out to meet the National Institute of Real Estate Cultural Heritage (NINCN) requirements, and the preparation of a project and the procedure for its approval, financing and implementation requires time.
As the conditions are many, and the procedures the management emphasizes that they have to go through to get to the exhibition do not depend only on the pace of our work, as well as given the interest in Lafchie House after its renovation a month ago, the team decided to restore the thematic concept of the previous exhibition, now let’s open it up for visits to endeavour to create a new type.
The Historical Museum – Dryanovo team expresses gratitude to the Municipality of Dryanovo and the OP “Clean Dryanovo” for supporting the house’s exterior, which turned into a construction site during its lifesaving repair.
