Dryanovo, Bulgaria: The Municipality of Dryanovo announces that mosquito fogging, a treatment to eliminate mosquitoes and flies, will be carried out on the territory of Dryanovo. Under suitable meteorological conditions (lack of rainfall and wind), on 31.07 (Monday) between 21.00 and 24.00, ground treatment against flies and mosquitoes will be carried out.
The contractor company is “Disinfection Station BG” LTD, which is registered and licensed in the field of DDD services by the Ministry of Health. The treatment will use Citrol 10/4 ULV, a professional preparation for exterminating mosquitoes and flies outdoors.
The Dryanovo Municipality has taken steps to prevent citizens from being affected by Malaria or other diseases mainly caused by mosquito bites. Because mosquitoes thrive in standing water, like the water that collects after rain, the number of mosquitoes in the area has been rising over the past few days as a result of rainfall-caused water accumulation at some locations.
Under these conditions, an insect repellent will help protect residents from mosquitoes that spread Malaria and other diseases, such as Malaria and Yellow fever. That’s why spraying will be carried out on the territory of Dryanovo.
The Gabrovo Municipality also suggested the citizens to use insect repellent on their skins and clothes to keep away (repel) insects. Skin repellents must be used according to skin type and as prescribed by doctors.
Furthermore, the Dryanovo Municipality suggested the citizens to take uncompromising care of their health to save themselves and their family members from diseases. It was also recommended to eat healthy and immunity-boosting foods.
Children are most vulnerable to mosquitos. It is necessary to prevent children from going outside and using mosquito nets at night.
