Gabrovo, Bulgaria: Regional newspaper “Rositsa” – Sevlievo, Technical University in Gabrovo and Regional Museum of History – Gabrovo organize an International Scientific Conference “, Regional Development, Cultural Corridors and Media”, which will be held between September 7 and 9 in Sevlievo.
The forum is under the patronage of the Mayor of Sevlievo Municipality – Dr Ivan Ivanov, the Mayor of Gabrovo Municipality – Mrs Tanya Hristova and the Regional Manager of Gabrovo District – Mrs Christina Sidorova.
Scientists and researchers from various fields of knowledge will present and interpret the ongoing transformational processes associated with social development in science, culture and society, as well as multiple theories, teachings, and doctrines of important socially significant value and consequences in the past and present, presenting the scientific papers and research of authors from different scientific fields.
Established scientists and young researchers in different areas from 5 countries will participate in the forum. Leading names in Bulgarian science and practice present the plenary reports.
International participation stimulates the integration of the Bulgarian scientific community into the European research and education space by providing conditions and opportunity for the creation of new knowledge, sharing of gained experience, competencies, exchange of ideas, and good practices, promoting international scientific and educational cooperation of Bulgarian scientists with foreign partners, etc. b. inclusion in global partner networks.
The interdisciplinary approach to organizing the conference and selecting co-organizing partners intensifies the links of science with education, culture, the business environment and society in general, popularizing and legitimizing science as a socially significant and essential part of the contemporary world.
Reports from the conference will be published in a folder referenced to NACID, CEEOL, SSRN eLibrary, eLIBRARY.RU and Google Scholar, which creates open access and raises the visibility of scientific developments. The Technical University will issue the report booklet – Gabrovo and the Regional Museum of History – Gabrovo.
Organizing an International Forum in cooperation between three organizations creates an academic environment for sharing knowledge and science. It is a prerequisite for sustainability and expansion of contacts at national and international levels.
