If someone is travelling from Plovdiv, the route will begin at the beginning of Chepelare, on the bridge before the Ski Factory, at the old fish shops and restaurant (disco) “Fish”.

The signs will take the traveller through the “Way of Water” at the centuries-old mill to the Roman Bridge along the Chepelarska River, which takes 1 hour. and 20 mins to the direction (3.6 km).

The new eco track is a well-forgotten old one because it boiled life along the Chepelarska River. Proof of this is the two mills and the Roman Bridge! Soon, the eco path will be extended for about 2 km after the Roman Bridge to the centre of the village of Bogutevo, and also a short approach to it from the main road to the sign for the village. Several emblematic Bulgarian films of historical value were shot at the more preserved centuries-old mill with its authentic interior and architecture: “Time Separated”, “Captain Petko Voivode”, and “Notes on the Bulgarian Uprising”.

This year, the tourist trail is well-marked with information and instruction signs, surrounded by wooden and rope bridges. The trail was financed by the Municipality of Chepelare and the Tourist Information Center of the city—the Chappalars.

The initiative is by Marcho Paunov of the Alpine Trolley “Zip Line – Chepelare”; he is joined by students from PG on SGST “N. Y. Vapcarov” – the city Chepelare, youth from the “Youth Center – Chepelare” and other volunteers participated in enriching the path with labour and financial funds.
