Dryanovo, Bulgaria: The Dryanovo Municipality celebrated May 24, the day of Slavonic Alphabet, Bulgarian Enlightenment and Culture, by organizing parades, concerts, and award ceremonies for teachers and other cultural institutions in the region.

May 24 marks the celebration of Bulgaria’s soul, the celebration of knowledge, the Bulgarian Easter of creation, and the victory of Bulgarian unity in language and history.

The program continued at the Summer Cinema, with a concert organized by the Development Center-1869. The respect of the Municipality of Dryanovo for teachers and cultural institutions was testified in front of the attendees, who received from Mayor Trifon Panchev specially designed plaques and certificates for their contribution to the development of education and culture.

The dance and singing ensembles, musicians and reciters demonstrated their incredible talent and skills, delighting the audience and creating a natural festive mood.

Hundreds of students and teachers from DG Detelina, Maxim Rajkovich Primary School and PGI Racho Stoyanov, representatives of the Municipality of Dryanovo, Municipal Council – Dryanovo, Archbishop’s Municipality – Dryyanovo, Historical Museum – Dryanovo and community centres of the municipality participated in the traditional festive procession from the square.

It was accompanied by the musicians of the Spirit Orchestra – Sevlievo, for which the Dryanovo Municipality thanked the Sevlievo Municipality for its assistance.

The saintly brothers Cyril and Methodius, the Bulgarian alphabet, education and culture, and Slavic literature were celebrated on May 24. The event was observed with gloomy festivities across the country

Numerous celebrations were placed around Bulgaria to honour the holy brothers Cyril and Methodius, the Bulgarian alphabet, education, culture, and Slavic literature.

The ceremonies in Sofia yesterday began with a solemn parade from the Ministry of Education and Science at 10:30 a.m., with President Rumen Radev and Vice President Iliana Yotova joining them.
