Mohamed Brahimi is already training with the group. The fast-legged Frenchman conducts strength training in the gym and prepares according to an individual field program accompanied by running exercises. His condition is monitored by the coaching staff.

“According to the program, the “canaries” will train once a day until the match with the “blues”. On Saturday, the team will hold its last activity in Plovdiv and travel to Sofia.

Both teams confronted each other last time last month when Botev dominated Levski Sofia on their home ground 6-0.

During the match, Antoine Baroane scored a brace, setting a new record for most goals scored by a foreign player. With that brace, the French surpassed Joao Paulo and Fernando Viana, who scored 25 and 24 goals while playing for the Canaries.

Antoine Baroane is the most profitable foreigner in Botev’s club’s history with 26 goals. Born in Niot, France, the 23-year-old joined Club Botev Plovdiv in 2021.

Since his arrival, Baroane has made 64 appearances in Yellow black shirt and scored 26 goals. Botev fans have high expectations from the French to score again and march their team towards victory.
