A complete set of medals was won by gymnasts from the Levski and Levski Triadica clubs at the strong international FIG tournament held in the capital of Zagreb, Croatia.
In the women’s all-around, Danaya Atanasova of Levski Club won the bronze medal, and Alina Kolomiec of Levski Triadica placed 4th place, a very prestigious performance for Bulgarian girls.
In the women’s separate devices finals, we had 2 participants in all four devices. Alina Kolomiec from the Levski Triadica Club won three silver medals – in the finals of hoop, bats and ribbon.
Danaya Atanasova of Levski Club took 4th place in the hoop, ball and bat finals and 6th place in the ribbon final, and Sofia Pavlova of Levski Triadica Club placed 7th place in ball.
In the senior girls, we have three gymnasts in the top eight – Nikol Valentinova of Levski Triadica Club is in 4th place, Anania Dimitrova of Levski Club is in 6th place, and Zhana Pencheva is in 8th place.
Nicole Valentinova qualified in all four finals of the devices.
It should be noted that Nicole and Anania are in their first year at the age of DSV, which makes their performance really excellent.
Zhana Pencheva played a very strong hoop in the final and won the gold medal with an estimated 28,800.
Nikol Valentinova (Levski Triadica) won the bronze medal in the ball final with a score of 26,800. Anania Dimitrova of Levski Club won a bronze medal in the bat final with a score Of 24,700.
In 2013, Darya Mancheva of the Levski Triadica Club won silver in all-round, gold without equipment and with a ball.
The referee for Bulgaria in this tournament was Marina Grozdanova.
