Boryana Kalain, Stiliana Nikolova, Eva Brezalieva and the women’s ensemble will represent Bulgaria at the World Cup in Valencia. European champions Boryana Kalain, Stiliana Nikolova and Eva Brezalieva will represent Bulgaria in the individual race at the 40th World Championships, to be held in Valencia from August 23 to 27th.

Bulgaria will be looking for a second quota through Boryana Kalain, who will present its complete program of the World Championship; Styliana Nikolova has been entrusted with three combinations – a hoop, ball and bats, and with a tape, Eva Brezalieva.

Bulgaria will also be represented by the current world champions Zenina Trashlieva, Sofia Ivanova, Camelia Petrova, Rachel Stoyanov and Radina Tomova in the ensembles that received the Olympic license last year.

All this becomes clear from the first stage of preliminary applications for the World Cup published by FIG. Eighty-eight individualists from 49 countries and 24 ensembles have been declared by July 26.

In the individual race, Bulgaria is in stream C, along with the representatives of Germany, Spain, Uzbekistan, the USA, Greece, etc. Bulgarian graces will start with a hoop under numbers 15 and 17.

Ensemble-women starts with starting number 9 with five hoops in group B. Along with the students of Vesela Dimitrova are the teams of Israel, Italy, Ukraine, Japan, Azerbaijan, Poland, Turkey, USA, Greece, Mexico and Australia.

The top eight on each qualifying device move on to the individual device finals to finish the individual’s first two days (August 23rd & 24th).

August 26 is dedicated to the final in individual wrestling. The Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation emphasizes that the best three qualification results are summed up for the individual all-around.

The 18 finalists will compete in two groups: Group B consisting of gymnasts ranked from 10th to 18th place, will appear first. Group A, ranked 1st to 9th, will participate in the second and final session.

Germany and Mexico will open the competition in Group A and B ensembles, respectively. A total of 24 teams will hit the carpet on August 25 in a race that will determine the all-around champions, the finalists of 5 hoops and three ribbons, and two balls that will highlight the final day of racing on the 27th. The first eight of each device proceed to the finals.
