Five weeks before the start of the 40th World Cup in Valencia, The Bulgarian delegation reached Milan, Italy, for the season’s final World Cup, which will be held for the first time in Milan (Italy).
Boryana Kalain, Stiliana Nikolova and women ensemble: Zenina Trashlieva, Sofia Ivanova, Camelia Petrova, Rachel Stoyanov and Radina Tomova travelled for their last check before the championship of the planet.
Part of the delegation is the personal coaches of our two individualists – Marianna Pamukova and Valentina Ivanova, senior – ensemble coach Vesela Dimitrova and her assistant Mihaela Maevska. The team is also travelling with the therapists Jason Petusis and Georgi Ryakhov and ballet educator Anatoly Dumanov.
Judges for Bulgaria in this competition will be Filipa Filipova in the individual race and Hristiyana Todorova in the ensemble race. The contest starts this Friday, July 21, with the women’s qualifiers (individual and ensemble).
On July 17, 2023, Bulgaria packed seven medals from the World Challenge Cup in Romania. The Bulgarian Graces managed to win a total of seven medals – two gold, four silver and one bronze medal in Cluj-Napoca this weekend at the 4th World Challenge Cup.
Boryana Kalen won two titles in the ball and bat finals. From Romania, Boryana returns with a total of three medals and a silver distinction in all-around.
Eva Brezalieva won two silver medals in the hoop and tape finals.
The women’s ensemble fought for the silver distinction in all-round and today added bronze in the finals of stripes and balls.
