For the 4th consecutive year, the National Tourist Hike “In the Kingdom of Wild Cycles” was held in Dryanovo, organized by “Crazy Bears” Tourist Association” with the support of the Municipality of Dryanovo. The event is part of the festive program on the occasion of the city holiday.
On Saturday, Krasimir Dimitrov, temporary mayor of Dryanovo Municipality, together with students from Maxim Raykovic High School and PGIT Racho Stoyanov, opened the holiday with a ceremonial ceremony raising the city flag.
Over 300 nature and hiking enthusiasts took part in this year’s edition of the hike “In the Kingdom of Wild Cycles”. In addition to local fans of nature walks, the event also included tourists who came to Dryanovo specifically to participate in the transition.
Dryanovo Municipality shared numerous pictures from the “In the Kingdom of Wild Cycles” event on its social media account. The municipality highlighted that the residents and tourists had a great time hiking and enjoying the beautiful sights and specialities of Dryanovo together.
During their journey, the hikers walked through narrow hills and ridges, enjoying breathtaking views of nature from high places. They also had the opportunity to observe numerous relics of ancient villages and fortresses.
The Dryanovo Municipality also organized the “Together for the Bulgarian Shepherd Dog” exhibition on the same day—over 100 participants yesterday near Dryanovski Monastery.
The exhibition was held at the Strinava Camping next to Dryanovo Monastery and was organized by the lovers of Bulgarian Shepherd Dog with the support of the Municipality of Dryanovo.
During the event, there was also an exhibition of all dog breeds, with the participation of those without pedigree. “Let’s show our wonderful dogs and gather together in one ring because it is our love for the dog that unites us,” was the motto of the organizers.
The beautiful four participants also attracted many spectators. Due to the great interest, the event is being held here annually.
