The Bulgarian Ministry of Culture organized XIX edition of National Youth Competition for Fine Arts National Palace of Culture. The National Youth Competition for Fine Arts, Applied Arts and Design has been held since 2005. in Plovdiv, Troyan, Tryavna and Sofia. The exhibition begins today and will run until June 16, 2023.
The Bulgarian Ministry of Culture organized XIX edition of National Youth Competition for Fine Arts National Palace of Culture.
On June 07, 2023, from 6 pm, the certificates of awarded students will be presented at the NPC Art Gallery. The exhibition will be opened in which 361 students from 14 art schools from all over the country from 8III to XI grades participate with their works.
The nominated and awarded works selected for the competition will be presented. The awards are 51 and will be awarded in 17 majors – Painting; Graphics; Sculpture; Art Ceramics; Silicate Design; Art Wood Carving/Furniture; Metal Art Processing; Fabric Art; Fashion Design; Advertising Graphics/Graphic Design; Book Illustration/Animation; Children’s Toys; Iconography; Mural/Mosaic/ romish design”; “stage costume/theatre makeup and wigs”; “theatrical, cinema and television decor/theatre doll/theatre artistic lighting”; “Cinema and Television”.
Students from art schools up to the age of 18, ranked first, second and third, will receive one-year scholarships in the amount of BGN 135 per month under the Gifted Child Protection Measures Program. They also have the opportunity to apply for one-time financial assistance to participate in a masterclass or plenary session.
The exhibition will run until June 16, 2023. with working hours 11-18 h. , entrance to the Art Gallery /to the “Peroto” club/.
