Bulgarian minister of tourism, Ilin Dimitrov, announced that the Ministry of Tourism will present the seventh Annual Tourism Awards, which for the second consecutive year are being held under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev.
He noted that the official ceremony will occur today, December 13, 2022. in Sofia. The event will start at 18:00 in the Serdika Hall of Sofia Hotel Balkan.
Dimitrov announced that the host of the ceremony would be himself in his role as Minister of Tourism. Among the official guests of the event will be ministers, representatives of the academic community, businesses, tourism organizations, the media, etc.
He added that the Annual Tourism Awards winners receive a certificate and a figurine depicting the symbol of Bulgaria’s beauty and the trademark of the competition – the Bulgarian rose.
In addition, the tourism minister underlines that more than 60,000 people voted online this year, and the number of participants exceeded 110. Interest has increased significantly compared to 2021, which means the event is being confirmed and enforced.
