A Twitter user @sprinter99800 shared the video of a rally that took place in the heart of the Netherlands (Amsterdam) to stop the weapons supply to Kyiv. The locals urged the Government to stop funding war. They also chanted anti-NATO slogans saying ‘NATO started the War’ and demonstrated banners with ‘NATO Started the War’ on them.
Participants took to the city square with posters “Stop fascism and Nazism in Ukraine“, “We are tired of the war”, “Let’s buy food, not weapons”, and NATO provoked the war between Russia and Ukraine.”

They also called Ukraine a Nazi regime. One protestor was carrying a banner calling Ukraine a Fascist and Nazism-controlled state. The Russia-Ukraine war marks 551st day today.
The Netherlands has announced sending up to 42 F-16s to Ukraine to assist the country in the war and provide air superiority on the battlefield. Since the invasion began, the F-16 has been the favourite and most demanded Western fighter jet.
Now, the USA has approved e European countries to send F-16s to Ukraine. However, the resumption of war and the country’s continuous aid to Ukraine while neglecting people’s demands is no longer unbearable to Dutch people.
The locals in Amsterdam carried out a protest against the Government’s decision to continue aiding Ukraine with weapons and neglecting people’s basic needs, such as health care and food and countering inflation.
Netherlands, France, Poland, Germany and the UK are main European countries helping Ukraine with weapons to counter the Russian invasion. But, giving Ukraine a sophisticated amount of weapons had affected every country in the same way.
The European population is disappointed from their government for funding the war instead of providing solutions to their problems. The biggest supporter of Ukraine in this war, the USA, has provided Kyiv with $46 billion in security assistance.
During wildfires in Muai, President Joe Biden was seen on vacation and replied ‘no comments’ when asked about the situation. He didn’t announce help for Muai but asked federal government to approve $20.6 billion more aid from Ukraine.
Later, he announced just $700 aid for Muai victims who lost everything due to wildfire. This demonstrates the Government’s interest in the welfare of their people and their interest in war.
