Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: Terrance Drew, Prime Minister and Minister of Health of St Kitts and Nevis, informed through its social media account that his son, Terrance Drew Junior delivered a speech for the United People’s Party (UPP) youth wing representatives during the party’s congress held at the Aleeze Convention Center in Madame Estate, St. Maarten on Sunday, August 13, 2023.
He remarked that it was a proud moment for him as a parent. He wrote, “Words can’t express the immense pride I feel as a parent today and every day. My son, Terrance Drew Jr., took the stage eloquently and confidently as he delivered his speech to the United People’s Party (UPP) youth wing representatives during the party’s congress held at the Aleeze Convention Center in Madame Estate, St. Maarten.”
Minister Drew emphasized that seeing his son stepping forward and addressing the youth of St. Maarten with such passion and enthusiasm was indeed heartwarming.
During the meeting held on August 13 in St. Maarten, Terrance Jr. encouraged his peers to believe in the power of unity, the strength of their voices, and the importance of active participation in shaping the future of our community.
The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis congratulated his son for his remarkable speech and applauded him for the incredible impact he generated by his address.
Terrance Jr. also appreciated his father, PM Drew the support he provided to deliver the speech. On his official Facebook account, he wrote, “Thanks, Dad. I am honoured to have you as one of my main sources of support”.
Minister Drew commented that as a parent, he is proud of the young man he is becoming. He stated that his dedication to fostering positive change and his commitment to uplifting the voices of the youth reflect his strong character and compassionate heart.
Encouraging his son, he remarked that Terrance Jr. Continues to inspire the youth with unwavering spirit and determination. Minister Drew hopes that his journey to be filled with success and growth.
