Representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, Andriy Cherniak, reported that Russia does not have any intentions to end the war against Ukraine.

According to the estimates of the military intelligence of Ukraine, the Russians will try to continue offensive actions next year. They did not succeed in achieving their goal in any of the directions.

Ukrainian intelligence claims that Russia realises that they are losing the war despite using their most advance and lethal weapons, but they do not plan to end the war.

“We are considering that Russia may go on the offensive simultaneously from the north or east. Such actions of the enemy are highly expected, and our troops are prepared for them,” said the representative of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

Andriy Cherniak believes the Russians will try to hold the land corridor to Crimea and capture the entire Donetsk region. However, in his opinion, the invaders will not be able to force a crossing over the Dnipro River to capture Kherson again.

Ukrainian military intelligence also anticipates that the Russian army may lose up to 70,000 more people in the next 4-5 months because their new troops are unskilled and using the weapons developed in the ’80s or ’90s, which has no match against the Ukrainian defence forces armed with cutting edge technologies and deadly weapons.

Western allies and the US continue to provide Ukraine with the most advanced weapon systems like HIMARS and Patriot, which recently launched a massive blow on Russia by eliminating numerous troops in the Donetsk region on New year’s eve. Russian military claims that 89 military personnel died due to the HIMARS strike.

On the other hand, threats of possible Nuclear attacks significantly increased after Russia deployed nuclear weapons in Belarus and Crimea.

Ukrainian intelligence confirmed the information that occupied Crimea and the Republic of Belarus is considered by Kremlin’s head Vladimir Putin for carrying out such provocations, and tactical nuclear warheads were brought there on his command.
