A focused strategy for enhancing the maritime sector and its offers are set to expand in 2022–2023 cruise tourism season. As of December 11, another cruise line has added another ship to its Saint Lucia itinerary.

The following berthing at Rodney Bay on Sunday, December 11, Seaborne Ovation began its fifth cruise call of the 2022–2033 cruise tourism season, bringing 485 people to the destination.

A luxurious ship with modern facilities, the Seabourn Ovation has mouth-watering dining selections, top-notch entertainment, and educational programmes. The vessel has a 690-foot height and can accommodate 600 passengers in all.

A plaque-exchange ceremony was also conducted on the ship after the tourism officials were invited. The Captain claims that of all his visits to Saint Lucia, this most recent one, which was met by pleasant weather and the scenery of Pigeon Island, was by far the greatest.

The Seaborne Cruise Line’s agents were overjoyed to welcome a new ship with the Cox and Company name. Managing director Matthew Beaubrun gave a genuine Saint Lucian plaque featuring the recognisable twin pitons to the Cruise’s Captain.

Dr Ernest Hilaire, the island’s prime minister and minister of tourism, stressed that once the ship arrived, cruise services turned more of their attention to the north of the island in order to improve their offerings and give tourists an exceptional experience.

The tourism officials also took a tour of the Seabourn Ovation, which stands for a different stage in the evolution of small-ship cruising. The ship impresses the most discriminating passengers globally with its novel ideas and vision for cruising. Small-ship cruising is a concept that is predicted to increase significantly in the future years.
