Dominica: Prime Minister Dr. Roosevelt Skerrit has greeted the mothers of the nation on the occasion of Mother’s Day. He extended his wishes through a social media post on his official page of facebook.
While extending his greetings he writes, Happy Mother’s Day to the amazing moms of our country. Thank you for being a source of strength, guidance and inspiration to the families and for the contribution towards the stability and progress of the nation.
He added further that on behalf of the Government of Dominica, he wishes all a wonderful day and God’s richest blessings.
Minister of Housing, Land and Urban Development – Melissa Poponne-Skerrit also wished all the mothers of the Dominica a very Happy Mother’s Day. She added to her wishes and writes that Happy Mother’s Day to the guiding light in our lives, your unwavering love, resilience and nurturing spirit inspire us always.
Recently, to celebrate the occasion the Minister Melissa Skerrit announced the Mother’s Day Sunset BBQ and Bingo. At the event, all the mothers of Roseau Central were invited on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at the City Breeze Apartments around 6:00 p.m. in the evening.
It was organised to commemorate the Mother’s Day and a pay a heartfelt gratitude to them for the sacrifices they have made and for their support and love that has always been with their children.
The visitors there also got to win prizes by participating in the fun activities. The ladies present there were entertained with the music performances by DJ Shil.
Mother’s present at the City Breeze Apartments have got the opportunity to taste the delicious BBQ cuisines and dishes as they enjoyed the entertaining performances.
Following this many people have filled the comment section with wishes and greetings to the PM Roosevelt Skerrit.
