Badminton Championship Highlights:

In the badminton championship’s junior category for students in the 8-10 grade range, EG “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov” secured the top spot, followed by PGDS “Tsar Ivan Assen ll” and PGMET “Stoycho and Kitsa Marchevi.” 

The competition was fierce, displaying the dedication and skill of these young athletes.

The excitement continued in the juniors 11-12 grade category, with PMG “The Acad. Boyan Petkanchin” clinching the first position, showcasing their exceptional talent. 

PGDS “Tsar Ivan Assen ll” secured the second spot, contributing to the overall high level of competition in the badminton championship.

Table Tennis Triumphs:

In the table tennis championship, the girls from Luben Karavelov Elementary School in Uzundzhovo emerged victorious in the team category for the 5-7 grade age group.

The teamwork and skill these young athletes from Luben Karavelov Elementary School displayed were commendable.

For individual rankings in the girls’ 5-7 grade category, Tony Nikolaeva, Andreya Delieva, and Zlatka Zinkova, all from Luben Karavelov Elementary School in Uzundzhovo, claimed the top positions. 

Their stellar performances showcased individual talent and the strength of their school’s table tennis program.

The boys’ 5-7 grade category witnessed intense competition, with SU “Vasil Levski” securing the first position, closely followed by PMG “The Acad. Boyan Petkanchin” and Lyuben Karavelov Elementary School in Uzundzhovo.

Martin Chobanov from PMG “Akad. Boyan Petkanchin” took the top spot in the individual rankings, with Mikhail Spasov (PMG “Akad. Boyan Petkanchin”) and Konstantin Lozev (Vasil Levski University) claiming the second and third positions, respectively.

As the Municipal Student Games continue, the Spartak Hall is set to host more thrilling badminton and table tennis matches.
