Haskovo dedicated his big festive concert to the cause “Yes! For Life” in support of donations and transplantations. Yesterday, at the Spartak CSK, thousands sang and danced with the young pop star Martina Ivanova and idol Miro. The concert is a long-awaited event.

It was supposed to be the culmination of Haskovo Day – September 8, but it was postponed due to the national mourning in memory of those killed in the floods in Tsarevo.

Haskovo Municipality submitted its gift to everyone and dedicated it to one of the noblest causes – “Yes! For Life! “. Together with the Executive Agency “Medical Supervision” and the Bulgarian Red Cross, the Municipality of Haskovo declared its support for donation and transplantations.

Volunteers from the Youth Red Cross in Haskovo informed concert guests about the meaning of donation and the possibility that more Bulgarians get a chance at a new life. Tonight, the audience expressed their gratitude to all the donors who, weeks ago, within days, came together and helped make 15-year-old Zlatina’s transplant, whose donor became her grandmother.

Haskovo returned the smile of one child and gave meaning to an entire family. Pop star Martina Ivonova entertained the attendees and gave them a memorable experience. She has been singing since she was little and participated in orchestras and chamber groups.

Martina was born into a musical household. She earned degrees in classical guitar, pop and jazz singing from the National Music School “Lyubomir Pipkov” and the New Bulgarian University. In Italy, Bulgaria, and Romania, she has won several competitions for classical guitar.

At the age of nine, she had her first television appearance. She works as a guitarist and singer with international jazz, pop, and classical musicians. She debuted with the single “Impatient” in 2012.

In 2016, she started exhibiting Kremona guitars at NAMM SHOW, one of the biggest music trade shows in the world, which is held annually in Frankfurt and Los Angeles.
