Gabrovo, Bulgaria: Nine kindergartens in Gabrovo district will receive more than 70,000 BGN this school year for innovations under the National Program “It’s Good in Kindergarten”, reported Gabrovo Municipality through its official Facebook account.

These are Gabrovo kindergartens “Ran Bosilek”, “Sun”, “Mavor”, “Joy”, “Winnie the Pooh”, “Clover” in Dryanovo, “Spring” in Sevlievo, “Winnie the Winnie the Pooh” in the village. Petko Slaveykovo and DG “Kalina” in Tryavna.

The total budget of the program is over 800 thousand. Lv. Kindergartens will receive resources to build modern environments and carry out pedagogical practices inside and outside the kindergartens, as well as encourage children’s motor activity.

Projects for children’s social-emotional development are supported through activities in the fields of fine arts, music and physical culture.

The program is being implemented for the second consecutive year, with interest in it from kindergartens growing more and more. For this reason, the budget is also dependent on the government-approved 400 thousand Lewa and provided even more from the MES budget to cover more projects and encourage interest in innovations in preschool education.

The Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science remarked that Kindergartens for innovation under the National Program “It’s Nice in Kindergarten” will receive over 800,000 BGN this school year.

By the decision of the Minister of Education, Science Professor Galin Tsokov, the budget of the program has been doubled to support more kindergartens.
