Dryanovo, Bulgaria: The Argirovi Brothers delighted the residents and guests of Dryanovo with an outdoor concert in the city centre today, July 15, 2023. The event was organized by the Municipality of Dryanovo. It was accompanied by a presentation of the duo Brothers Argirov biography book earlier in the municipal administration’s ritual hall.
The events continue with the exhibition of Dryanovo beekeepers and the Summer Theater family festival (games, puppet theatre, show with giant soap bubbles, stand-up comedy, etc.
With a broad smile, they stepped into the city of Dryanovo to present their biographical book, “It’s Good to Be Two”. Yesterday, the hilarious brothers Argirovi and Jordan Georgiev – Dancho Stair arrived in Dryanovo. After seeing several sights of the city, they prepared to meet their fans.
The Argirovi Brothers posted several pictures of an outdoor concert in Dryanovo city centre on their social media account. Numerous residents gathered to attend the show and enjoyed the environment filled with happiness and joy.
The Argirovi Brothers also made a special announcement regarding their upcoming events. They look forward to arranging meetings with their beloved audience in Veliko Tarnovo on July 18, Varna on July 19 and Dobrich on July 20, 2023.
The event in Dryanovo was also a part of the summer cultural program of Dryanovo Municipality. It continues till July 15, and the Summer Theater Family Festival is set to take place in the city – creative workshops, puppet theatre, fun games, soap bubble show, comedy show, and more will be available for fun, specially designed for all age groups.
The Dryanovo Municipality also informed that from July 13, Dryanovo will host a major sporting event – the State Showdown Championship. 68 athletes participate – 28 women and 40 men. Next, the national competitors will stay here to prepare for the World Championships in Birmingham in August. It will continue till July 18, 2023.
The event at the Pop Hariton Complex was opened by Mr Ivan Yanev, Chairman of the Federation “Sport for People with Visual Disabilities”, then Nikolay Karagyozov, Deputy Mayor of Dryanovo Municipality, welcomed the participants.
Showdown is a sport for people who are blind that can be similar to table tennis. Unlike table tennis, showdown strikes are done with a bat. The ball is larger; it rolls on the table and makes a specific noise, which blind people to orientate where it is.
