Over a thousand students, their parents, as well as the teaching board of HG “St. H. E. S. Cyril and Methodius, as well as Prince Alexander I primary school, expressed their desire to visit the match between Botev and Slavia.

The Plovdiv Humanitarian High School is a unique phenomenon in Bulgarian history, having been created at the most critical moment of the Renaissance – on September 1, 1850.

In this school, Lyuben Karavelov studies debt and faithful service to the people, Vasil Levski considers the creation of the revolutionary organization, and the future leaders of the April Uprising are sworn to a sacrifice for the freedom of their people.

It is worth noting that many of the nation’s spiritual champions, such as Ivan Vazov, Peyo Yavorov, Pencho Slaveykov, Dimcho Debelyanov, Tsanko Tserkovski, Lyudmil Stoyanov, Georgi Bakalov, Dimitar Strashimirov, Maestro Georgi Atanasov, Panayot Pipkov, prof. Assen Zlatarov and academics Lyubomir Chakalov and Boyan Petkanchin.

The relationship between two of Plovdiv’s most important institutions – FC Botev and the Humanitarian High School, has also been an integral part over the years, with one of the first yellow-black fields being on the territory of the high school.
