Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: PM Terrance Drew, Prime Minister of the federation St Kitts and Nevis, expressed a great deal of pleasure and happiness during the celebrations of the 91st Anniversary of St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) at the Annual National Conference held on (Sunday) May 21, 2023.
During the event, PM Drew spoke to the residents of St Kitts and Nevis on the vital role that the SKNLP has been playing in the development of the country via the assistance of fellow citizens. He sent warm invitations to the populace and urged them to participate in the celebration of the momentous occasion.

He stated that “We have graciously completed 91 years of dedicated service in the nation” after further acknowledging the importance of the occasion”.
Minister Drew appreciated and welcomed the citizens of the Caribbean nation in his opening remarks during the event. He said that St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) and all the hard work they did to serve the country deserve all the credit for this celebration.
He said, “Comrades, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. You are the heartbeat of the St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party”.
Additionally, he emphasizes that St Kitts and Nevis inhabitants, who continued to work hard without taking a break and significantly contributed to the growth of the twin island federation, are to be credited for the country’s rapid progress towards development.
“The SKNLP is overwhelmed and appreciative of the country’s success, which is largely due to the struggle and sacrifices made by the people of St Kitts and Nevis”, said PM Drew during the event.
Minister Drew highlighted that with 91 years of service on behalf of its citizens, the SKNLP is the oldest, most renowned, mature, trustworthy, and experienced political party.
He said, “St Kitts and Nevis Party has set the example of what a political party should be in the entire Caribbean region. PM Drew also outlined the crucial role that citizens of the island performed, claiming that without them, nothing was conceivable. “Comrades, I appreciate your devotion and hard work”, said PM Drew.
He noted that the St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party’s goal for growth and development, which has been a strong point of connection between the party and the populace, is in line with the people’s ideas. “There is no St. Kitts and Nevis without the St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP),” he asserted.
Minister Drew claimed during the event that St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party is the only political party that can bring about the nation’s development and results, adding that the SKNLP has served as the island’s foundation since its citizens founded it.
