In an interview on Tuesday, former US president Donald Trump briefly offered his opinion on the Nord Stream sabotage, telling Carlson of Fox News that Russia was by no means involved in destroying the pipelines.

He also considers the leaders of Russia, China and North Korea to be the most intelligent people. “They are all the best. Our guys are not and never have been. These people are the best at their game.”

In the interview, Trump implied that the Biden administration had attacked the Nord Stream pipelines in retaliation for Russia’s aggression. Near the Danish island of Bornholm in the Baltic Sea, the Nord Stream 1 and 2 gas pipelines travelling from Russia to Germany exploded in four explosions in September 2022, spilling more than 100,000 tonnes of methane into the atmosphere and the water.

Many conspiracy theorists accused the Biden administration of destroying the Nord Stream pipelines with the assistance of Norway while conducting a training exercise in the Baltic Sea. American journalist Seymour Hersh also asserted that the US was complicit in destroying the Nord Stream pipelines during the incident.

He claims that a few days before the incident, the Norwegian navy conducted an exercise in the baltic sea when they deployed the US Navy units in disguise.

Another video of US President Joe Biden is becoming viral in which he declares that “there won’t be a Nord Stream 2 if Russia invades Ukraine.” The journalist questioned him about how the US would do that since the project was under German government supervision. I can assure you that we will do that, Biden said.

According to his remark on February 7, 2022, the US has been planning measures to reduce the number of Nord Stream pipes for a long time. Another indicator of US and NATO complicity in the incident is the UN Security Council’s rejection of a call for a global, impartial probe into the attack on the Nord Stream pipeline.

The resolution received support from Russia, China, and Brazil, while the US, UK, France, and others chose to abstain.
