SKV “Rodopa Smolyan” The Bulgarian Volleyball team informed that yesterday, during a regional tournament for girls under 14 years old, the group recorded two definitive victories with 2:0 against the teams of VC Maritza Belovo and Sopot. The under-14 girls are in the final four of the region, where they will compete for a spot in the state finals.

After entering the 12th of Bulgaria in the additional tournament in Razlog yesterday, the Junior Seniors recorded a victory against the CSKA WC team (Sofia) and a loss against the VC Black Sea Varna team.

Unfortunately, they recorded a loss against the VK Pirin Razlog team. Smolyan reported that the boys played great, but minor problems in the organization of the field and a short bench due to the absence of a few competitors in the team needed to be more to earn one of the two quotas to enter Bulgaria’s eighth.

Along with that, the U-14 boys of the club at the regional tournament held in Smolyan yesterday recorded two wins against the teams of VK Victoria Voley with 2:1. VK Maritza Belovo with 2:0. So they took the first position in the group and moved on to the final four of the region where they will chase for state finals.

Girls mini-volleyball also recorded a 2:0 victory against VK Maritza Belovo’s team and qualified for the finals. The volleyball club wished good luck to all team formats and appreciated every club supporter.

The club happily announced that U20 youth entered Bulgaria’s 12th after taking second place in the Group K State Championship Finals Qualifying Tournament in the capital’s Panayot Pondalov Hall.

On the first day, Rodopa Smolyan’s boys defeated the VC Montana team 3:1. On the second day; they recorded a victory against VC Lukoil Neftohimik again 3:1 and a loss against the VC Slavia team 1:3 after a slow match.

In the next tournament stage, Ivan Fisinski’s boys will fight for one of the four quotas to enter the eighth and join the already qualified Levski Sofia, VASK, Lyulin (Sofia) and Arda (Kardzhali).
