”The shooting at a Bulgarian Cultural Center Tsar Borris III in Ohrid is an unacceptable act of aggression planted for decades in our neighbour against Bulgaria and the Bulgarian citizens”, said President Rumen Radev.
Since the centre’s founding, there have been three attacks on it. The most recent conflict happened only two days ago. The Bulgarian ministry of foreign affairs verbally protested the ongoing attacks on Bulgarians and their property in the neighbouring nation.
He added, ”The state leadership of the Republic of Northern Macedonia must understand that the road to the EU passes through recognition and respect of the rights of Macedonian Bulgarians, our cultural and historical heritage and our common history. The inclusion of Bulgarians in the CCM constitution is mandatory before the road to EU membership is opened”.

President noted that the administration of Kiril Petkov’s party, “We Continue the Change”, apparently still has problems with knowing the laws in the Republic of Bulgaria. Under these laws, the President does not participate in the management of security services.
”When you are enthusiastic about changing something without knowing it well, the result can take you in the most unexpected direction”.
”Let the parties in Parliament make a stable government and then demand the resignation of its ministers”. The official Minister of the Interior argues what the head of state is doing to overcome deficits accumulated for years in the work of the Ministry of Interior.
President noted, ”The current Bulgarian Parliament, not the next one, has important work to do before it is too late. I have given the parties enough time to pass urgent laws and for cabinet formation dialogue. It depends entirely on the parties whether and when there will be a regular government, but if they are unanimous that they want elections immediately, let them say so”.
