Sofia, Bulgaria: The weather in Bulgaria at the current time is 18 degrees. The weather authorities of the country issued a “Code Orange” warning of dangerous weather for eight districts of Bulgaria for June 11, 2022.
According to the forecast, there is a possibility of heavy rain along with thunderstorms in these eight districts. These districts of Bulgaria are – Plovdiv, Kurdzhali, Smolyan, Pazardzhik, Gabrovo, Lovech, Vratsa and Montana.
However, the other twenty districts of Bulgaria have been put under the category of “lesser Code Yellow”, meaning that the weather in these regions might get dangerous. Rain and thunderstorms are also expected for the districts under the lesser Code Yellow.
The weather predictions also suggest rain and thunderstorms for June 12, 2022, for most of the parts of the European state.
Even for today, the weather projections have stated not a much calm climate for most parts of Bulgaria.
The wind today in the Balkan state is blowing at the speed of 16 km/h, with a humidity percentage between 80 to 82.
The weather authorities had issued a “Code Red warning” of strongly dangerous weather for the district of Smolyan, whereas a “Code Orange warning” has been issued in 14 other districts for today (June 10).
These 14 districts are – Montana, Vratsa, Lovech, Gabrovo, Stara Zagora, Haskovo, Kurdjali, Plovdiv, Pazardjik, Blagoevgrad, Kyustendil and Pernik.
The lesser “Code Yellow warning” has been issued for today for the districts – Vidin, Pleven, Veliko Turnovo, Sliven and Yambol.
The expected rainfall for today was predicted between 25mm to 40mm for districts in Code Yellow and 35mm to 65mm rainfall for the districts put under Code Orange. Even for some of the regions today, the rainfall is expected to increase above 60mm and get between 80mm and 100mm.
