Dryanovo, Bulgaria: The Dryanovo Municipality informed through its social media account that they had won funding for a project proposal, ” Implementation of Energy Efficiency measure in the building of the Municipal Administration of Dryanovo,” worth BGN 677 474.42 under the procedure “Reconstruction, repair, equipping and furnishing of municipal buildings providing public services to improve their energy efficiency”.
The project activities envisage installing an autonomous photovoltaic system for own needs with monocrystal photovoltaic panels, with a total installed power of 43kWp and a 5kWh battery. Repair and heat insulation of the main roof will be carried out, and heat insulation of the terrace roof above the first floor and above the unheated basement level.
Implementation of the project will improve the conditions in the Municipal Administration – Dryanovo building and reduce electricity costs. Application work for this project began in July 2022, when the State Fund “Agriculture” announced a campaign to collect project proposals.
By decision No. 665 of the Municipal Councils – Dryanovo of 28.10.2022, the advisors unanimously supported Mayor Trifon Panchev’s proposal to apply for the energy efficiency procedure. Aftermarket consultations and completion of all consensus procedures, the Municipality of Dryanovo project proposal was registered on February 23, 2023.
The list of approved candidates was published on the State Fund of Agriculture website on 01.08.2023.
Additionally, the Municipality announced that they had launched an initiative to collect proposals for planting trees in the central part of the city. They must indicate the type of tree and the place proposed for its planting. The deadline is by the end of August.
At the beginning of September, a joint committee with Municipality and citizens’ representatives will evaluate the possibility of implementing the proposals.
