According to data from the National Statistical Institute, the persons employed by labour and service law in the Gabrovo region for the last quarter of 2022. they are down by 0.2k. , or by 0.6%, by the end of December 2022. , reaching 39.0 thousand.

The average annual wage growth for the reporting period is 16.3%, Gabrovo’s chief of statistics said, adding that the region remained in seventh place in the country regarding the average monthly wage.
The unemployment rate in the Gabrovo region for the last quarter of 2022. is 3.25%, an increase of 0.09% compared to the previous year. Registered unemployed persons in the Labor Bureau are 868.
In the Gabrovo region, employees received in the same period are 482, of which 425 are in the primary labour market, and 57 are in subsidized employment. The highest number of employees in Gabrovo municipality is 233, 194 are in the primary labour market, and 39 are in supported employment.
There are 149 employed people in Sevlievo municipality, of which only five are on subsidized employment. 40 people started working in Tryavna municipality – 33 in the primary labour market and 7 in sponsored jobs.
In the municipality of Dryanovo, there are 60 people, 54 of whom are in the primary labour market and 6 in subsidized employment. In 2022, the number of jobs announced in the Department of Labor in the region was 2178, with 1531 of them in the primary labour market.
The number of employed people during the year is 2327, of which 513 are in subsidized employment.
