Five people have been injured in the last three days in accidents. The main reasons are high speed, lack of experience and carelessness. A small child got injured too.
On September 9, at around 5:25 p.m. in Burgas, a Nissan Qashqai car, whose driver was a 64-year-old Burgas resident, collided with a 43-year-old bourgeois driver’s Volkswagen Golf vehicle that was stopped and patiently waiting for the green signal at the intersection of Georgi Popayanov and Zahari Stoyanov streets.
The driver and his female passenger from Bulgarovo were injured in the accident and taken to UMBAL-Burgas. The man has a neck injury, and his female companion got an abdominal injury. After a complete examination, it was confirmed that they had no fatal injury and were later sent to their homes after the treatment.
On the same day, around 11:06 p.m. in Burgas, a BMW 525 car being driven by an 18-year-old man from the Pomorie hamlet of Medovo was travelling and got struck by a Skoda Fabia car driven by a 19-year-old Burgas woman. Luckily, no one was seriously injured and discharged after treatments.
A Kawasaki motorcycle with a Burgas registration, driven by a 51-year-old man from the village of Ravnets, fell on its own, landing on the right side, on September 10 at 7:59 in the “Adata” region close to the town. Later, the Police discovered during the check that his driver’s licence expired on 16.03.22. He was taken to UMBAL – Burgas’ Orthopaedics department for treatment after breaking a vertebra above the hip.
A girl from village Sinemorets suffered brain trauma and scratched on the left side of her face. She was admitted to the neurosurgery department at UMBAL, Burgas, on September 11, around 10:42 a.m. The driver was a 47-year-old man from Sofia. Later, he was examined for alcohol and drug test, and the results came negative.
