Sofia, Bulgaria: A proud moment for every Bulgarian as athletes of the Balkan state bagged five medals – two gold and three silver – at the 2022 FIG Artistic Gymnastics `Cup series, which is being held in Pamplona, Spain. 

During the finale of the individual events, which took place yesterday, for her clubs and ball routine, Stiliana Nikolova seized the first spot by taking the gold medal, whereas the Bulgarian ensemble bagged the second spot with a silver medal on three balls and two ribbons.

Meanwhile, on May 21, 2022, Saturday, Boryana Kaleyn was in the all-around, although following the ankle injury, she missed the finals on Sunday.

The club compositions of Stiliana Nikolova ranked 33,450 points. A silver medal in the finals in balls and ribbons was won by the Bulgarian ensemble with score points of 28,700. The ensemble remains at number 5 in five hoops, with a score of 29,000.  

The team of Bulgaria – Vaya Draganova, Jenina Trashlieva, Sofia Ivanova, Rachel Stoyanov, Margarita Vasileva and Kamelia Petrova have been practising together for the past month. 

Italy bagged the first position in balls and ribbons with 29,600 points; meanwhile, the third spot was taken by Azerbaijan with 27,550.

The artistic Gymnastics World Cup is a competition series for artistic gymnastics, which is officially organized by FIG, as well as the World Championships and the gymnastics competitions at the Olympic Games and the Youth Olympics. 

Beginning in the year 2009, World Cup has competed strictly as a series of stages with no final culminating event. The award and the prize money depending on the type of competition.   

For the present time, there are a total of three separate series run by the FIG, which are as below:
