According to the sources, the US veteran Meimer arrived in Ukraine in 2022 when the conflict began. First, he joined the Mozart group PMC but left the company and started training Ukrainian troops.
The battle of Bakhmut was started on August 1, 2023, and is still ongoing. The Ukrainian armed forces claim that Russia has suffered more losses than Ukraine in terms of troops and equipment.
The former US particular operator was also fighting in Bakhmut in the defence-fortified area called a Nest. Things didn’t go as planned, and a Russian air attack killed him.
Several volunteer troops from various countries have died fighting in Ukraine. Russia is accelerating the bombing on Ukrainian settlements in Bakhmut.
Another video of Russians using White phosphorus munitions is getting viral on social media as it is the second time Russia used these banned munitions in Bakhmut.
The use of these munitions was first reported two weeks ago when leader of Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, warned Russian Federation to pull out his troops from Bakmut due to a delayed supply of ammunition.
The Russian side claims they have taken complete control of Bakhmut, and almost few regions are left under Ukrainian control. Still, there is no confirmation from Kyiv about the claim made by the Russian side.
Another footage of a Ukrainian soldier is getting viral on social media with a Ukrainian soldier saying that Bakhmut has fallen and the Ukrainian troops are retreating from the region.
