Now the protest was against NATO. According to the protestors, the NATO Warmachine is the root cause of Russia Ukraine conflict, which can result in global conflict anytime. Weaponry aid and continuous funding to Ukraine stop the Ukrainian administration from conducting peace talks with Russia.

The protestors emphasised that NATO is provoking the conflict instead of solving it and fighting a proxy war with Russia with the help of Ukraine. The war has marked 385 days today, resulting in countless casualties from both sides.

It was estimated that Ukraine had lost more than 2,00,000 people in this conflict. Ukraine territories like Bakhmut, Kharkiv, Luhansk and Vulhedar have suffered massive collateral damage due to Russian strikes.

During the protest, hundreds of people were seen chanting the slogan “NATO go home” while carrying the Bulgarian and Russian flags together. The Bulgarians also showed their anger and disappointment towards Ukraine.

According to the Bulgarians, the Ukrainian president was responsible for the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, as his terrible decisions resulted in chaos in their own country.

Another reason for Bulgaria hating Ukraine is refugees. Several refugees entered the country since the beginning of the war, which caused some problems in the country once the Ukrainian protestors in Bulgaria tried to spoil Soviet monuments in Sofia.

They were stopped by Bulgarian protestors who defended the soviet monuments and criticised Ukraine for provoking the conflict. Now the Bulgarian people once again conducted a protest to urge NATO to stop weaponising Ukraine and start concerned about restoring peace worldwide.
