In his speech, PM Drew emphasised his delight and honour at attending the ceremony and seeing the young, gifted officers succeed in life.

The Prime Minister of the twin-island nation justified his attendance at the closing ceremony in the caption of a post on his official Facebook account, writing, “I attended the Closing Ceremony for the 13th Caribbean Customs Law Enforcement Council (CCLEC) Junior Officers Basic Training Course.”

While extending his congratulations to the junior officers from his country, he also took the opportunity to praise the policies and efforts of the Caribbean Customs Law Enforcement Council (CCLEC) for carrying out the junior officers’ basic training programme, which would aid in the development of their career skills and general knowledge.

It is admirable that he claimed that allowing cops access to these training programmes will improve their decision-making and field skills.

At the conclusion of the training programme, it is significant that he affirmed his unwavering confidence in the junior officers. “I am proud of the officers who officially completed the 13th CCLEC Junior Officers Basic Training Course,” he declared. I want to congratulate everyone sincerely.

In the end, the prime minister added, “You have attached with it, and as a result, you have grown and improved your skills. I appreciate your dedication to serving your nation as Customs and Excise Officers”.
