Dominica: The Government of Dominica has announced the rehabilitation process of the Dominica Club in Roseau. The first phase of the project will start Wednesday. The Club will offer the people many opportunities for entertainment, sports and recreation.

The government of Dominica has announced that after the rehabilitation process, the club will offer opportunities for several sports. The people of the community can enjoy activities like Tennis, Pickleball, Squash and Roller skating among others.

The phase one will start for the Dominica club with the clearing and demolition of the existing structures. The stakeholders involved in the project will clear path and ease access to the site for the construction to commence.

Further, they will also rehabilitate the tennis court as a part of the first phase of the rehabilitation project. These steps will help lay the foundation for the transformation of the Dominica Club.

The Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Melissa Skerrit shared these details regarding the development project.

She addressed the people Roseau, assuring them that the administration is dedicated to transforming the Dominica Club. Minister Skerrit highlighted that she is working closely with the Dominica Olympic Committee team.

She thanked the team for their support and partnership, calling their collaboration invaluable. The Panam sports also extended a crucial donation, which helped the government in financing this significant development project.

By Wednesday, the area will be transformed into an active construction site for the Dominica Club. In line with this, Minister Melissa Skerrit asked the people of the community to make sure that they do not use the area for any other purpose.
