During the summit, detailed conversations were conducted over different aspects related to Conaree Football Stadium. Conaree football stadium is the home ground of Conaree FC, situated in Conaree village, St Kitts and Nevis. Minister Drew attended the discussion with his delegation, the Public Works Department and the Department of Sports of St Kitts and Nevis.

Prime Minister Terrance Drew used his official social media account to distribute information about the Townhall before starting the discussion. Additionally, he also extended warm invites to the residents of the Caribbean Islands to join the summit.

PM Drew wrote on his official Facebook account, “I am inviting the Conaree community to join us this evening at 6:00 pm at the Conaree Community Centre”. He highlighted that the town hall meeting covered several crucial issues and provided insight into the Conaree Football Stadium’s relevance for the community.

The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis also delivered opening remarks at the meeting. He emphasizes that the Conaree football stadium and the amenities it provided served as a foundation for future players.

The stadium offered national athletes a unique platform that encouraged and prepared them to pursue their sporting careers under better supervision and security.

PM Drew mentioned that the meeting was regarded as a crucial step towards strengthening and improving the Conaree Football Stadium. The Conaree Community’s residents were invited to an interactive meeting with the Prime Minister of the Twin Island Federation.

During the meeting, Minister Drew also asked for the opinions and suggestions of the people to get feedback on the stadium for various elements. Minister Drew ensured that the Government of St Kitts and Nevis is committed to uplifting every sector of the country. He added that more initiatives will be introduced in the upcoming days to promote sports and games throughout the country.
