World: Grand Finale of the much-awaited pageant took place on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. This time, Poland’s Karolina Bielawska bagged the title of “Miss World 2021“. 

This was the 70th edition of the event, which was conducted at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Shree Saini, the representative of the United States of America, is the first runner-up, while the position of second runner-up has been bagged by Olivia Yace from Côte d’Ivoire. 

Karolina Bielawska is the successor of Jamaica’s Toni-Ann Singh, who was the “Miss World 2020”. 

Official account of Miss World on Twitter, while congratulating and informing names of the winners, tweeted, “Our Miss World 2021 is Karolina Bielawska from Poland! #missworld.”

“Our newly crowned Miss World Karolina Bielawska from Poland with 1st Runner Up Shree Saini from United States 2nd Runner up Olivia Yace from Côte d’Ivoire #missworld“. 

Keeping in mind the ongoing tensions between Russia and Ukraine, at the beauty pageant’s grand finale, Jamaica’s Toni Singh performed prayer. Candles were also lit at the mega beauty event.

Miss World Twitter handle tweeted, “Our current Miss World Toni-Ann Singh performs The Prayer as we light candles around the world to stand with Ukraine. Not a dry eye in the arena  #mwcandlesforukraine“. 

The six countries that made it to the top 6 finalists were: the United States, Poland, Indonesia, Mexico, Northern Ireland and Cote D’Ivoire.
