Dominica: Prime Minister Dr. Roosevelt Skerrit met with the students of Baroness Patricia Scotland School of Vieille Case. The students gathered there as a part of Career Week and got engaged in the discussions with him.

PM Skerrit shared glimpses of the same on his official social media handle, where he can be seen clearly engaging with the students and guiding them towards their future goals and for pursuing their dreams.

Prime Minister shared a note and expressed that he spent time with the students from Baroness Patricia Scotland Primary School of Vieille Case.

He further explained that the students have been observing Career Week. He engaged with them on discussions on their dreams for the future.

Along with this, PM also shared words of advice with the students considering the importance of sound education for success in life and work.

The Prime Minister stated that it has always been a pleasure to host the children who represent the future of the nation.

Reportedly, Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has been continuously gathering with the students from several schools as a part of ongoing Career Week in Dominica.

Similarly, last week, he engaged with the students of Bellevue Chopin Primary School and had a lively discussion, marking the Library Week organised by the Dominica Library and Information Service.

To commemorated it, the students visited the Office of the Prime Minister on Thursday, May 16, 2024 as a pat of activity where they discussed plans for new school building and classrooms.

Dominica Library and Information Service is considered as the main arm of the public sector which is responsible for information service delivery and the management, co-ordination and development of library services within the Commonwealth of Dominica.

Considering this PM Skerrit highlighted that the young minds are the future of Dominica and the government will work to enhance the education sector to provide quality learning experience.

Additionally, he also confirmed about the construction of one secondary school and five primary schools as part of its resilient mission.
