The 14-year-old schoolgirl from Skopje had been reported missing on November 27, sparking an intense search. Tragically, her lifeless body was discovered near Skopje, having suffered fatal gunshot wounds.

Simultaneously, a 74-year-old man reported missing on November 24 was found dead near Veles.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed that the suspects in custody are connected to both murders, with one of them managing to flee the country.

According to information provided by Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski, the main organizer behind the initials L.P., identified as the leader of a small political party in the country, orchestrated the heinous acts.

In a press conference, Minister Spasovski revealed that all the detained suspects are associated with this political party. Law enforcement officials executed searches at the party’s headquarters and other locations in Skopje and Veles.

Evidence has been collected indicating the involvement of five individuals in the abduction and murder of the young girl. Three of them are now in custody, while the main organizer remains at large, reportedly having left the country, first for Belgrade and then to Bulgaria, accompanied by his lawyer.

The investigation took a chilling turn as the girl’s father was questioned in connection to the case. Allegedly, the main organizer received information from the father about the girl leaving her home alone.

The motive for the kidnapping, as revealed by Interior Minister Spasovski and prosecutor Goran Bubovski, was initially blackmail. However, the suspects, panicked by the swift response to the girl’s disappearance, resorted to shooting her.

The connection between the two cases emerged through the 74-year-old man’s acquaintance with one of the suspects, who owed money to him.

The older man’s car was reportedly used in the abduction and later set on fire. Security camera footage near the block of flats provided crucial evidence for the police.

As the investigation progresses, authorities have seized mobile phones, computers, and cars, conducting numerous interrogations and searches.
