Tragic assault in Brestovene leaves Grandmother injured over paltry sum

Fortunately, the medical team’s dedicated efforts led to stabilising her condition. Presently, she is in recovery within the surgical ward, with no immediate life-threatening risks.

Law enforcement in Razgrad acted promptly, detaining the 22-year-old culprit at the Kubrat Regional Office. 

The incident has prompted the initiation of pre-trial proceedings for robbery, a charge that could potentially carry a sentence of up to 10 years in prison for the perpetrator.
