Affected families from Govedartsi not alone in trouble

All residents of the apartments were evacuated in time, and there were no injuries.

The very next day, colleagues and social workers from the Social Assistance Directorate – Samokov visit the affected families, who are currently staying with relatives and relatives.

They provide them with the necessary psychological support and offer the opportunity to use social services on the territory of Samokov Municipality.

They have been consulted on the options of social assistance. The completed applications for granting one-time assistance in case of emergency needs have been accepted.

They will be processed immediately so that the victims can receive up to 1512 BGN in the short term. This amount will allow them to cover urgent costs of basic necessities, providing food, water, medicine, and clothing.

They were also consulted on the possibility of assistance from the Social Protection Fund of 2500 BGN.

Social workers from the Directorate of Social Assistance-Samokov will continue to provide assistance and support to affected families.
