A “Code Orange” has been announced for the whole country for tomorrow, November 4. Significant rainfall and thunderstorms are expected in Gabrovo district.

The NIMH-MOSV also warn of a strong southern wind with gusts up to 25-28 m / s. The GDPBZN gave additional instructions to all regional directorates of the PBZN regarding increasing preparedness in case of emergency situations.

The directors of the regional directorates of the Ministry of Interior have also been informed about the weather forecast.

Bulgaria’s meteorological department has issued a Code Orange warning for all of the country’s districts on November 4 due to expected heavy rains, storms, and strong winds.

The Code Orange warning has been issued for the districts of Vidin, Montana, Vratsa, Pleven, Lovech, Sofia district, Sofia city, Pernik, Kyustendil, Blagoevgrad, Pazardzhik, Plovdiv, Pleven, and Smolyan, because of forecast storms and heavy rains.

The western part of the country is warned of heavy rain and thunder in thirteen regions. Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Stara Zagora, and Kardzhali regions are expected to see heavy, gusty south winds and substantial rainfall for a strong south wind in the remaining 11 areas of Eastern Bulgaria.

Most of the nation will have gloomy, precipitation-filled skies with severe hail and thunder forecast in Western and Central Bulgaria.

A strong south-southwest wind will persist in the eastern half of the nation, while the remainder of the country will experience a brief shift in wind direction to the northwest and a drop in temperature.
