It is organized by the Regional Road Safety Commission (OKBDP) with the assistance of ODMVR Gabrovo, State Puppet Theater Gabrovo and the Regional Road Safety Committee-Gabrovo.

This was the first of a series of meetings in kindergartens on the topic of road safety, and the reasons are the Day Without Victims of the Road – September 20 and the Road Safety Days, which take place between September 16 and 22, with the motto: “Stay alive! Take care of your life!

More than 80 children from 4 groups participated in the diverse program, all of them receiving gifts from OKBDP – infectious bears, personally presented by Deputy Regional Governor Daniela Marinova. Marinova stressed that knowledge about road safety should be developed at an early age.

“Children learn through experiences, so they will have the opportunity to watch an educational production with a quiz and participate in games organized by the Yavor Kindergarten team.” The aim is to keep the attention of young children on this topic that is important to our whole society. The team of the State Puppet Theater – Gabrovo presented the interactive production “Adventures in the Park” – a contemporary story on road rules and safety and telephone 112. Theatres delighted little spectators with gifts – balls to play with in the spacious yard of their favourite kindergarten.

About 20 children from preschool groups entered the controversial race with scooters and wheels. They demonstrated mastery of management and knowledge of traffic rules and received certificates and awards for their skills.

The kids also met with Deyan Doyinov, a senior expert in RUO-Gabrovo, and an insp. Christopher Bozinov who presented a stop stick and three reflective backpacks to the Director of DG “Yavor” Vera Tikhova.
